Giovanni Alibrandi (also known as ‘The Vanhalia Project’) is a violinist, keyboardist, composer and arranger. He has worked for many years with such artists as Noa, Franco Battiato, Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani, Tony Brundo, Paolo Buonvino, Isola, Pippo and Melo Mafali.
He has won prizes for his works called 'Abstractio', 'De Profundis' e 'Ogni Sera' ('Track of the Day', ‘Best Programming’, 'Best Mood in Ambient', ‘Potential Soundtrack’) inside the Garageband community. He receives regular broadcastings on the Tangerine Dream Fans Zone Podcast, StillStream - Ambient Music Web Radio, Taukay Web Radio and IMradio.
He has published several EP’s and single works for labels such as EnoughRecords, Proc-Records, Carosello Records, Always Records/Pomodoro
Studio, Publicspaces Lab and others.
